Swami Vivekananda's Life

Swami Vivekanand birth date
Swami Vivekananda was born on 12 January 1863.  His household name was Narendra Dutt.  His father Vishwanath Dutt believed in Western civilization.  He also wanted to teach English to his son Narendra to run in the manner of Western civilization.  Narendra's intellect was very sharp since childhood and the longing to attain the divine was also strong.  For this he first went to the Brahmo Samaj, but his mind was not satisfied there.

Vishwanath Dutt died in 1884.  The burden of the house fell on Narendra.  The condition of the house was very bad.  Kushal was such that Narendra was not married.  Narendra was a great guest-servant even in extreme poverty.  Being hungry, he used to provide food to the guest, would himself stay wet all night in the rain outside, and put the guest to sleep on his bed.

On hearing the praise of Ramakrishna Paramahansa, Narendra first went to him with the idea of reasoning but Paramhansa ji recognized on seeing that he is the same disciple whom he has been waiting for many days.  By the grace of Paramahansa, he was self-interviewed and as a result Narendra became prominent among the disciples of Paramhansa ji.  After retiring, he was named Vivekananda.

Swami Vivekananda had dedicated his life to his Gurudev Swami Ramakrishna Paramahamsa.  Regardless of the delicate condition of his home and family during the days of Gurudev's body-sacrifice, the Guru continued to be present in the service, regardless of his own food.  Gurudev's body became very sick.  Due to cancer, there was thistle, blood, phlegm etc. coming out of the throat.  They used to clean them all very carefully.

Once someone showed disgust and carelessness in the service of Gurudev and frowned his nose with disgust.  Seeing this, Vivekananda got angry.  Teaching that Gurubhai and showing love towards everything of Gurudev, he drank the whole thing by taking a spit full of blood, phlegm etc. near his bed.

It was only with the devotion of such devotion and devotion to the Guru that he could best serve his Guru's body and his divine ideals.  He could understand Gurudev, merge his own existence into Gurudev's form.  To spread the fragrance of priceless spiritual treasures of India in the whole world.  At the foundation of his great personality was such guruship, gurus service and exclusive loyalty to the guru.

At the age of 25, Narendra Dutt wore ocher robes.  After that he traveled all over India on foot.  In 1893, the World Council of Religions was being held in Chicago (America).  Swami Vivekanandaji arrived as the representative of India in it.  The people of Europe and America used to look at the subjugated Indians at that time with a very inferior sight.  There people tried hard not to get time for Swami Vivekananda to speak in the Sarva Dharma Parishad.  The effort of an American professor gave him some time but all scholars were surprised to hear his views.

Then he was very welcome in America.  There was a large community of his devotees there.  He stayed in America for three years and provided a wonderful light of Indian philosophy to the people there.

'The world will be orphaned without spiritualism and Indian philosophy' This was the firm belief of Swami Vivekananda.  In America, he established several branches of the Ramakrishna Mission.  Many American scholars received his discipleship.  They always address themselves as servants of poor.  He always tried to brighten the pride of India in country-longitudes.  On 4 July 1902, he gave up his body.

Childhood of swami vivekananda

From childhood, Narendra was very intelligent and naughty.  He used to do mischief with his fellow children, but when he got the chance, he did not fail to do mischief with his teachers too.  In the house of Narendra, there was a regular ritual of worship in the house, due to the religious tendency, Goddess Bhuvaneshwari Devi was very fond of listening to the stories of Puran, Ramayana, Mahabharata etc.  Storytellers used to come to his house every day.  Bhajan-kirtan was also done regularly.  Due to the influence of religious and spiritual environment of the family, the values of religion and spirituality deepened in the mind of child Narendra.  Due to the rites and religious atmosphere of the parents, the child's desire to know and receive God started appearing in the child's mind.  Sometimes he used to ask such questions that his parents and narrator used to get confused even to Panditji in the excitement of knowing about God.

Chicago religion conference - Swami Vivekananda's Speech

 American sisters and brothers,

My heart is filled with indescribable joy while standing to show my gratitude for the warmth and affection with which you have welcomed us.  I thank you on behalf of the ancient tradition of ascetics in the world;  I thank the mother of religions;  And I also thank on behalf of every category of Hindus of all sects and opinions.I also express my thanks to some of the speakers who spoke on this forum, who while referring to the representatives of Prachi, have told you that these people from far off countries can claim the distinction of propagating the spirit of tolerance in various countries.  .  I take pride in being a follower of a religion that has taught the world both tolerance and universal acceptance.  We do not believe only in tolerance towards all religions, but accept all religions as true.  I am proud to be a person from a country that has given shelter to the oppressed and refugees of all religions and countries of this earth.  I take pride in telling you that we had placed in our chest the purest residue of the Jews, who had come to South India and taken refuge in the year in which their holy temple was dusted by the tyranny of the Roman race.  I take pride in being a follower of such a religion, which gave shelter to the remnant of the great Zarathustra caste and which they have been following till now.  Brothers, let me tell you a few lines of a hymn, which I have been reciting since childhood and which millions of humans do every day:

 रुचिनां वैचित्र्यादृजुकुटिलनानापथजुषाम् । नृणामेको गम्यस्त्वमसि पयसामर्णव इव ।।
                      👇   Meaning 👇

 - 'Just as different rivers originate from different sources and merge into the sea, similarly, O Lord!  According to different interests, different crooked or straight people meet and join you at the end. '

This gathering, which is one of the best sacred conferences ever held, is automatically a rendition of this wonderful sermon of the Gita and its declaration to the world:

 ये यथा मां प्रपद्यन्ते तांस्तथैव भजाम्यहम् । मम वर्त्मानुवर्तन्ते मनुष्याः पार्थ सर्वशः ।।
                      👇 Meaning 👇

 - 'Whoever comes towards me - in any way - I receive it.  People come towards me at the end, trying through different paths. '

Communalism, dogma, and their ungodly lineage fanaticism have ruled this beautiful earth for a long time.  They have been filling the earth with violence, bathing it repeatedly with the blood of humanity, destroying civilizations and putting entire countries in despair.  If it had not been unethical, human society would have been much more advanced than it is today.  But now their time has come, and I hope internally that the bells in honor of this gathering this morning are of all the bigotry, of all the atrocities caused by sword or pen, and towards the same goal  Prove to be the death knell of the mutual bitterness of the humans who are marching.

 Vivekananda's contribution and importance

The work that Swami Vivekananda accomplished during his brief lifetime of thirty-nine years, will continue to guide generations for many centuries to come.

At the age of thirty, Swami Vivekananda represented Hinduism at the World Religion Conference in Chicago, America and gave it a universal identity.  Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore once said, "If you want to know India, read Vivekananda.  You will find everything positive in them, nothing negative. "

"It is impossible to even imagine him being second," Romain Rolland said of him.  Wherever he went, he was the first.  Everyone would show their leader in them.  He was the representative of God and his specialty was to gain dominion over all. Once in the Himalayas, an unknown traveler stopped looking at him and shouted, "Shiva!" It was as if that man's adorable god gave his name  Have written on their foreheads.

He was not only a saint, a great patriot, speaker, thinker, writer and human lover too.  Returning from America, he called out to the countrymen and said, "New India has come out of Modi's shop, from the mess of the woods, from the factory, from the market, from the market;  Out of the bushes, forests, mountains, mountains. "And the public answered Swamiji's call.  She left with pride.  The public support that Gandhiji got in the freedom struggle was the result of Vivekananda's call.  Thus he also became a major source of inspiration for the Indian freedom struggle.  He believed that the holy year of India is the holy land of religion and philosophy.  This is where the great sages and sages were born, this is the land of renunciation and renunciation and the door to the highest ideal and liberation of life has been opened to man from here to here.  His statement - "Get up, wake up, wake yourself up and wake others up."  Succeed your male birth and do not stop until the goal is achieved. Vivekananda's philosophy of education

Swami Vivekananda Macaulay was opposed to the English education system prevalent at that time, because the purpose of this education was only to increase the number of babus.  He wanted an education that could lead to all-round development of the child.  The aim of a child's education is to make him self-sufficient and stand on his feet.  Swami Vivekananda has termed the prevailing education as 'prohibitive education' and said that you consider a person who has passed some examinations and who can give good speeches, but the reality is that the education which the general public struggles for life  For those who do not build character, who do not develop the spirit of social service and who cannot cultivate courage like a lion, such  What are the benefits to protect?

Swami Ji wants to prepare for both secular and otherworldly life through education.  Regarding education from a secular point of view, he has said that 'we need such education, which constitutes character, increases the strength of the mind, develops the intellect and makes the person self-reliant'.  From a worldly point of view, he has said that 'education is an expression of the inherent perfection of man'.  The death
Swami Vivekananda Death Reason
His vibrant and pithy lectures are known all over the world.  On the last day of life, he explained Shukla Yajurveda and said, "Need another Vivekananda, to understand what this Vivekananda has done so far." According to the counterparty, even on the last day of life, he kept his 'meditation' routine.  Did not change and meditated two to three hours in the morning.  Apart from asthma and sugar, other physical ailments surrounded him.  He had also said, 'These diseases will not let me pass even at the age of forty years.' On July 4, 1902, at the Ramakrishna Math in Belur, he died as a Mahasamadhi in a meditative state.  His disciples and followers built a temple there in his memory and established more than 130 centers around the world to propagate the messages of Vivekananda and his Guru Ramakrishna.
